Two decades of change in the Baltic States

Rūta Ubarevičienė is a PhD candidate and a junior researcher at the Lithuanian Social Research Centre, Institute of Human Geography and Demography, Lithuania. She is also a PhD candidate at the Delft University of Technology, OTB – Research for the Built Environment, the Netherlands. She is contributing to the ira.urban project by conducting a research on the city systems and their change in the Baltic countries in the post-soviet period. You can find the presentation which will introduce you with the general spatial development trends in the Baltic States and the main ideas of the research (in progress) on the “Changing urban hierarchies in the Baltic States”.
