Linkages of small cities and rural districts in Central Russia

Maria Gunko is a visiting researcher at the Leibniz Institute for Regional Geography (IFL) in Leipzig  where she is working on the ira.urban research project. She has gained a degree of MA in Geography at the Lomonosov Moscow State University and then complited her PhD thesis at the Institute of Geography Russian Academy of Sciences „Linkages of small cities and rural hinterlands in Central Russia“ earning a PhD degree in Social, Economic and Political geography.
